4. Carrying True Value

The true value of something is sometimes difficult to measure, but what I know of true value is richer than anyone or anything, and hopefully it holds the same truth for you too.

"Time carries way more value than money can ever buy"

I have realized that money is a tricky beast to be tied onto. We use money to pay bills and keep the lights on, true, but the most valuable thing for me is time. Not necessarily time for the quote of "time is money", but more as time for the sake of time.

Appreciating and being aware of the time you have with someone is so more valuable than the world gives credit for. Having a coffee with a friend, spending time with family, walking your dog, playing with your children, and having active time with those you care for is so essential in life.

Don't get tied up in the notion that money buys freedom; it doesn't. Money purchases the needs and wants in our lives, but when it all boils down to it, all you have is your family, your love, and your body. Take care of all of these, and if you have the decision to not punch in for time with the loved ones in your life, don't even reach for that punch/time card.

Become aware of the Now-time you have on this beautiful Earth.
